This kit eliminates the need for makeshift pans and funnels by suspending a collection bag directly beneath your motor’s drain valve, stabilized by a custom mounting system.
What’s Included
- 1x Flexible Collection Bag: Features an interior pocket and handles designed to restrict access to the interior once full, making disposal clean and easy.
- 1x Hanger Rod: A durable metal or plastic rod (approx. 2–5 ft length) with a bent section for optimal stability.
- 1x L-Shaped Mounting Bracket: A rigid bracket (4–10 inches) that connects the rod to the motor assembly.
- 2x Elastic Security Straps: Adjustable straps (2–5 ft length) that wrap around the motor and bracket to keep the system rock-steady during draining.
How It Works
- Mount: Place the L-shaped bracket against your outboard motor so the hanger rod extends outward beneath the valve.
- Secure: Wrap the first elastic strap through the bag handle, around the bracket, and around the motor to lock the rod in place.
- Stabilize: Use the second elastic strap to wrap around the flexible bag and motor, ensuring the bag stays open and stable while fluid flows.
- Drain & Dispose: Open your valve to expel fluid into the bag. Once finished, untie the straps and remove the bag for safe disposal.
